Machine limitations are a big factor in digital fabrication and that was our main focus for this project. We wanted to leverage those limitations and see how far we can push the design. Getting inspired by nature. We designed the chair using a differential growth 2D workflow. And then applying weaving and attractor points for a controlled 3d design that can be translated into G-code.
